Description: Here for your consideration is this very nice refinished original used 1967-69 era Plymouth Barracuda / Cuda models hood front underside secondary / safety latch catch. Was cleaned, blasted to bare metal, epoxy primed, and painted in a nice Gunmetal Gray coloring. Never used or installed since its refinishing. Works good, with nice spring mechanism Overall looks great, but if you look closely inside the lower hook area, there is just some slight pitting on the metal there. Everything outside however looks nice and is ready to install! Will be a nice addition to any car it gets installed on. If you are into date codes, this one has a date of 241 7 on it (241st day of year 1967) on the upper handle part (see last two pictures).
