Every year, for 33 years, he would call Mr. Clark and pleasantly ask if it was for sale. Each time, he got the same answer, “No, son, it’s not for sale.” Mr. Clark eventually visited the Wellborn Musclecar Museum and loved it. He said to Tim that this is where he wanted his car to go after he passed. Around 2020, Tim got a phone call from Mr. Clark’s daughter, honored to sell her late father’s prized HEMI into the Wellborn collection.
