1oz + Feverfew Organic Whole Herb Migraine Digestive Bitter PMS Inflammation

Description: 1oz + Feverfew Organic Whole Herb. Feverfew My best friend Eric had unintentionally influenced me to have a very personal relationship with this powerful little flower without ever taking it myself until later. After taking feverfew regularly for a few weeks his migraines and their intensity lessened dramatically. It really does work! The longer you take it daily, the more relief you will experience. We all know what goes up must come down, and unfortunately the down side of taking this plant ally daily for extended periods, is you must take it daily or your symptoms will return. A fair trade off honestly, when you compare the price, toxicity of prescription meds and the emotional rollercoaster of chronic migraines, & doctors, it affects your job, your dependability, relationships and sanity. So now fast forward many years, and I have a healthy lot of feverfew on my mountain and I use it when I have headaches and oh my goddess it is INTENSE! Like eating pine needles! It blasts your tastebuds and acts as a bitter to assist in digestion or making you hungry if you have issues there, it is used for colic and digestive unrest, and it’s good for people who have trouble breaking down fatty or harder to digest foods. Some people take it for menstrual woes, for inflammation and PMS symptoms, it assists your body in calming fevers, as the name suggests, which actually originated from the word “Febrifuge” which means to lessen or break a fever. Maude Greive says it helps the respiratory system which I can see why, it is very aromatic, I would think a steam of it would clear you right up! Feverfew is in the Asteraceae family if you have an allergy to daisies and the like, be cautious. Not recommended for pregnant womyn due to its stimulant effect of the uterus, it is not excreted into breast milk. It has no known contraindications but it is advised to not mix with anticoagulant medications. I believe this beautiful powerful plant spirit is unmatched in its effectiveness pure and right off the plant. 1-3 leaves chewed up is all you need for a headache or inflammation, but as I witnessed even dried and capsuled it works wonders. It’s easy to grow, it’s a perennial and self seeds easily, (I have seeds for sale too!) you’ll have a patch before you know it! It loves sun but thrives in my 4 hours of sun a day garden, both in pots and in the ground! I identified my first one decades ago growing heartily out of a crack in a sidewalk! Here is some information we discovered while trying to cure or find the cause of his migraines. I hope it helps you on your journey. He couldn’t eat fermented foods, like soy or pickles, any processed or aging or aged foods because of the tyramines. No dairy, alcohol, gluten, sugar, meat, cheese, avocados and chocolate!!! What a nightmare! The last three are high in natural histamines and I also had to take a break from them over time as I too had excessive inflammation and have an excessive amount of food sensitivities, I also had to stop eating nightshades because of the lectins they contain, (so you may want to look into that) it really helped, especially not eating tomatoes & gojiberries (sadly) which are a nightshade too. He also had to accept with his chronic nerve pain, he could not handle stress, any little thing would send him into a days long migraine fest. Unfortunately stress is usually the hardest thing to change in your life but it is probably a major cause of your migraine! Here are some food staples I created for Eric during bad migraine times. ~Terrah’s Migraine Milk~ Oat Milk (or another nut milk) Calendula petals Chamomile flowers Turmeric powdered Fresh & dried ginger (they have different healing affects!) (don’t use too much fresh ginger as it can be too intense) Ceylon Cinnamon Manuka (or any) Honey Butter Unrefined Coconut oil ~ Cook down till your kitchen smells amazing. This is soothing healing drink that smells and tastes amazing (if you do it right!) What I found profound and beautiful is that simply the smell of this medicine would lull him to sleep (we lived in a camper so he was very close to it) I don’t measure so just intuit the ingredients, they’re listed by quantity, most to least. ~ ~Terrah’s Herbed Mash-atoes~ Instant mashed potatoes (I know, I know, it’s what we had) Basil Oregano Chives Rosemary Turmeric Thyme Parsley No pepper or garlic nothing spicy Butter Coconut oil Salt Spring water Add all herbs to the water heavy on Basil & Oregano, light on Salt, Turmeric, Rosemary & Thyme & no Cilantro, no pepper or garlic or spicy spices! Boil it till the kitchen smells amazing. Add potatoes Add butter & coconut oil ~ ~Terrah’s Golden Rice~ ~ Add heavy Turmeric and Powdered Ginger & light on basil, coconut oil, butter & salt to the rice water, boil all ingredients well before putting in rice. Cook as directed. ~ ~Terrah’s Awesome Oatmeal~ ~ Cook down finely cut up apples, dates, bananas & cinnamon, clove, cardamom, vanilla, coconut oil & honey & a tiny pinch of salt is key, in water till it….what am I going to say?? Till it makes your kitchen smell amazing!!! These aromas also help your anxiety over the stress your loved one is experiencing. It should be a somewhat thin sauce, add oatmeal cook as directed, add more water if needed! Add butter when done. ~ ~Soothing Cooked Apples~ ~ Peeled thin apple wedges or cubes and simmer in butter & coconut oil with cinnamon, clove (always very light on clove!), cardamom, honey & vanilla & add water as necessary so it doesn’t burn, it takes a while. ~ Many blessings to you on your healing journey!
