Description: For sale is 1x (one) NOS Vactec Vactrol, marked 21L 292. This is a vintage component made before Vactec’s Vactrol product line was taken over by Perkin Elmer, and then later Excelitas. I don’t know what spec these vactrols are - 21L was used to mark oem equipment, and these vactrols came from a music factory buyout. However, I have no way to do scoped or extensive testing. I have confirmed that these do work and pass current! Other than that, i’m afraid I have little information. These are dual vactrols. This means they actually have two resistors and one led, though they can be used as a single vactrol if desired by just using one of the LDRs. These are extremely rare parts as the cadmium-selenide cell that they are based on is now banned to manufacture. Vactrols are common in lowpass gates, compressors, and various other audio equipment, though again I am unsure exactly what spec these vactrols are. Final sale as these are vintage parts!
