Description: Undated single volume copy of Alexandre Dumas' The Three Musketeers, for some reason translated as The Three Guardsmen by this publisher/for this edition. There is an inscription in pen that reads "W. J. Bope. Dec. 25, '08 D.J. & E.W.H.M." There is something written in pencil that is mostly undecipherable as well (see pictures in listing). Condition is as shown. Originally bought by someone else from Dawn Treader Books in Ann Arbor, MI if memory serves (might be inaccurate, this was years ago). There is one illustration that has the initials "A.R." in the bottom right corner, but I have no idea if it is an Arthur Rackham illustration or not, as that information is not listed anywhere in/on the book.
