Description: Antique English Sterling Hallmarks Baby Rattle Mother of Pearl Handle Rare! This is in very good condition and is marked with English hallmarks. Hallmarks are - anchor, lion, small letter p - believe this means Birmingham sterling - late 1800's according to my research. Really cute! Has 3 bells - 2 are plain (one of these is dented on bottom) and 1 on top is ornate. Bells don't make much sound when jiggled. Measures approx. 3-1/2" long. Note there is a ring on top so it could be used with a chain. Could be a cute conversation piece worn as a necklace. From a Non-Smoking Home.
