Description: An antique figural oil lamp featuring a boy holding up the oil reserve and chimney. This lamp has a central draft argand burner. The oil reserve appears to be porcelain . The base is iron on a wood pedestal (this is a heavy lamp). I'm not an expert but from the homework I would guess this lamp to be circa 1840-1860. Approx. 21" high with chimney. The paint has come off in a few spots as you can see in the pictures but no damage to the lamp itself.
