Description: Beautiful and unusual aqua green greasy opaque finish (meaning it allows a little light to pass through it, like polished jade does). This is more of a turquoise blue green than a teal or emerald blue green. This one is on hanks that measure 6.25" x 6 strands (3 tied loops) laid flat; 1.0-1.1 millimeters, 34 beads per inch, avg hank weight 2.2 grams. Age is late 1800's- early 1900's. Bulk discount is available- see pricing information on listing. These really old beads are very tiny and there is no universal standard measurement for size with seed beads, so more modern beads than these will often be three sizes larger than mine. If you check the photo for size comparison to the coin shown for one hank, and the millimeter diameter measurements, this will help you make an informed decision. Contact me directly if the system overcharges you and I will refund or send you an invoice. I have a huge collection of rare antique micro seed beads. These beads were old store stock from Murano, Italy, France, and the Czech Republic, whose artisans handmade these beads in the 1800's up to the early 1900's. This is some of the last existing handmade antique bead stock. Additionally, many of the color pigments and finishes, like "greasy", are no longer made. See sizing chart photo for my size parameters. My beads are very tiny compared to other sources so PLEASE know how small these are, as I do not issue refunds. I've used tiny antique micro seed beads for 35 years in my restoration of antique purses.
