Description: What a find! Up for auction is this wonderful pair of vintage and RARE, Celia Harms sterling silver and brass coin pierced earrings with lever back. I can't find any details about this pair of earrings and I'm assuming that the coins are a brass reproduction. In fact, I can't find much at all about Ms. Harms other than she was a mid century Mexican artist and her pieces are quite collectible. These earrings are in as-found condition with tarnish but otherwise in very good condition. There looks like extra solder around the base of one of the earring posts. The lever backs snap shut tightly and the style is very rustic, so any metal scratches and oxidation may be intentional. 24.26 grams Marks: Harms, 925, MEX, CB-01 Good pre-owned condition with slight tarnish and metal scratches due to age and use. Please note: Pieces are sold in as-found condition. These are vintage used treasures and I gently clean individual pieces but leave major cleaning and polishing up to the buyer to do as per taste. I do not clean lots. I do my best to inspect each piece and describe/photograph any hallmarks, signatures, metal marks, flaws, damage and imperfections as best I can, but please ask any questions you may have before bidding.
