Welting, also called puff cord, seat cord or welt piping because of the round edge, is a fabric-covered cord made of upholstery fabric. Welting is sewn with a fabric lip to insert it between fabric pieces with the puff edge remaining visible. It's often used on the edges of arm rests and seat cushions. Has relief cuts.Manufacturer calls this Empire Tan, we see it closer to a Brown color.Manufacturer calls this puff cord welting having a piece of 5/32" running through it, we measure it to be approximately 1/4".
