Description: (#1) COBRA LONG TOM Driver Golf Club, RH, reg. flex, PRISTINE! PLEASE READ! NEW GRIP! (6006) CONDITION : Pre-owned in PRISTINE condition. See the pics. PLEASE NOTE: I purchased three Cobra LONG TOM drivers at an estate sale. (The other two are listed in separate listings on eBay.) (Two are regular flex, and one is senior flex.) All three had bad grips. So, I had NEW Golf Pride Tour Wrap (midsize) grips installed. At the same time the grips were installed, I had 2 of these drivers cut down to 46" (overall length), and one cut down to 45-3/4", since 48" is not 'legal.' (Drivers at 48" length are typically only used for long drive competitions.) See the following note. Effective January 1, 2022, a new local rule gives professional and amateur tournaments the power to limit driver length to 46 inches. Under the previous rule, all golf clubs excluding the putter were capped at a length of 48 inches.Plus, another reason I had them cut down 2-ish inches is because a 48" driver won't fit in a 48" long box; and based on my experience, a 50"+ box significantly increases the shipping cost.
