The conion C-100FJ (also known simply as “C100”) was marketed by Conion (“Coney Onkyo”) in the early to mid 1980s. It was one of the most iconic and well-known boomboxes of its time, and for good reason. It is big, loud, comfortable voice, loud! Its image has been used to adorn everything from album covers to clothing to smartphone cases. Many collectors state that this was the loudest integrated boombox of the 80s. To protect your investment, it is equipped with an alarm system with proximity sensors between the LED meters. The Conion C100 offers four different audio sources Tuner: AM, FM, and two shortwave bands. Aux/Phono: This allows you to connect turntables and other music sources, as well as the latest devices such as MP3 players. Deck 1: This is the lower deck with the large door. It has a full range of functions, including music search and tape type selector. Deck 2: This is the upper, slot-mounted deck. The Bass and Treble knobs vary the low and high frequency outputs by plus or minus 8 dB. The Loudness switch raises the 100 Hz output by 6 dB and the 10 kHz output by 4 dB. There are two stereo modes: Normal and Wide. Wide stereo creates a unique effect by inserting a slightly delayed version of one channel into the other channel. All belts for cassettes 1 and 2 have been replaced with new belts. No need to worry about the belts breaking. Cassette 1 and 2 playback, fast forward and rewind are working. There is no volume clacking. Radio AM/FM (stereo) reception OK. Antenna can be smoothly pulled out all the way and angle adjusted. The product has been maintained.
