A journey that begins in the Pacific Northwest, describing the major cities (Seattle, Vancouver, Tacoma, etc), and then through the Inland Passage, among glaciers, and into Alaska, observing native tribes and customs, totems and shamans, education in AK, animal life, natural resources, Chinook Jargon, and phantom mirage cities, which various travelers claimed to see cities hovering above the glaciers and/or submerged in Glacier Bay. Condition of the book is EX, very clean, spine cloth has some light ripples and very light spots and is slightly darker than the cover cloth; slightly shaken, which caused a very tight crack between frontis and title page and a very slightly loose page signature.
