Description: The Top Hat was made by Ferdinand & Rehfus Hat Company, Mannheim, Germany (circa early 1900’s?). The interior circumference of the hat measures 22 inches (or about a size 7 hat). The hat is 6 inches tall, 12 inches from the front edge of the brim to the back edge of the brim, and 10 inches from side to side.The Hat Box has a functioning Jdeha lock and key, #529. All the exterior straps and buckles are in great working condition. The lining is a beautiful cobalt blue with no tears or worn spots. The interior buckles are in great condition, but the straps have lost their elasticity.Inside is a velvet Top Hat polishing pillow (Philipp Neubauer Berun brand). This is a very fine collectible hat and box in excellent collection!
