ITEM DESCRIPTION DescriptionUp for your consideration is a very fine pair of antique Chinese porcelain vases, dating from the late Qing dynasty, c. 1900 (or earlier). The vases are beautifully glazed, with hand-painted gold highlights throughout. They vases were made by the same artist, but feature somewhat different artwork. They are also slightly different sizes, with one measuring 11.75" tall, where the other is 11.25" tall. They bear a double cobalt border on the underside, and were drilled on the underside. Likely for drainage, but they may have been lamps at one time. ConditionExcellent original condition, free of chips, cracks, or crazing. One vase retains its original paper import label on the interior. It appears to be from the 1920's, but the vases are earlier.
