Description: A note from me Here I have a Very Rare Remus Lupin Wand, now Retired!! Still in its original Ollivander Box. The wand has been removed from the box no more than a handful of times for photos etc by myself and has never been treated as a toy. You will not find any of these wands in better condition elsewhere unless bought direct from the shop itself. Please see photos for examples. I bought this from new in the early 2000's originally as an investment, imagining they might double with the years. Luckily two have become very very rare having been retired, whereas the others have kept there worth. All the wands I placed in dry storage in their original boxes, the very same boxes they were sent to me in (I will post them securely in these same boxes to the buyer as a novelty item when I post). In regards to this each box has a serial code on it and two or three of the wands I am not sure which code goes with which so will communicate in full on purchase and let you decide which one to send it in On the wand itself In the film Lupin’s wand was made of cypress, with a corn of unicorn hair. There is a great connection between Lupin and the significance of this wand. Cypress wands are a match with wizards who are willing to sacrifice themselves for others and even willing to die a heroic death. Lupin spent the majority of his life hidden from others, alone and sacrificing himself to save others. He eventually died that way, in the Battle of Hogwarts, defending Hogwarts castle and its inhabitants.His wand can create both corporeal and noncorporeal Patronus forms.
