Description: This doll is gorgeous! All original.... dress, undergarments, shoes, bonnet, with human hair eyelashes. She is 27” tall with her original fully wood-wood jointed composition body. This sweet doll has a pale, very fine bisque socket head with soft rosy blushing to her cheeks and beautiful features with open and close eyes. Marked: Heinrich and Handwerck Simon Halbig Superior 5-1/2. There is a red mark on paper affixed to the doll's behind which looks like 5 1/8. "She has an open mouth with four molded teeth, and hand-painted raised relief eyebrows. Her bisque head has no cracks, no crazing, no hairlines, no repairs, no restorations, no overpainting. Good condition, original clothes including shoes socks, undergarments. Bisque head and features are in very good condition, no wear to her features. The hair is believed to be original, a bit matted, from age. There's a little short crack on the left buttocks cheek (see photo). This doll has been in my family for four generations. Sadly, none of the great grandchildren or my children want it. So it's time to be appreciated in another home.
