Description: This is one of Ansonia’s larger figural mantel clocks depicting Hermes or Mercury in very good Japanese finish. This is the larger figure with the Roman style base. It’s a combination that I have not seen, and I believe it to be original. The dial is very good with no noticeable issues and this one uses the more desirable, pierced brass hands. I don’t notice anything missing and Mercury’s wings are present and not repaired. The clock will be dismantled for shipping. It will require re-assembly and set up so it’s being sold for restoration. I don’t think your going to find one with a finish this good and of this size. It’s priced to sell so don’t miss it.
