Description: Here is a neat old cabinet card photo of a family standing outside of the family bakery. The window is marked C. BAHNTGE 2060 BREAD & CAKE BAKERY. Looks like there are some samples from the bakery on display in the window. The family consists of 4 women, 2 men, a young boy and an infant in the one woman's arms. The 2060 must be the street address, because it is also seen painted over the one door. There is also a sign hanging on that reads To Let. The sidewalk basement door is open in front of the store window. On the back of the photo is written Family Bakery, but unfortunately, none of the family members are identified and there is no date or place written on the photo. There is no photographer's mark, either. I did some research and found the name Bahntge in New Jersey and Oklahoma, but didn't find any who owned a bakery. The photo is faded. The cardboard it is mounted on has some discoloring, missing corners and rough edges; the back has some discoloration. Still a great old photo, I am sure it could be photoshopped to bring out the people better. Would be nice for anyone researching the history of the Bahntge family. Postage will be 4.70 to the U. S.
