Definitely not Meissen - The decorative plate is very pretty from afar and features a pale turquoise blue plate trim and gold leaf decoration but upon close inspection you will see the wear to the gold gilt edging as well as quite a bit of scratching on the center gold gilt - must have been used heavily - the decorative cabinet plate does measure approximately 8.5" round and does weigh 11.2 oz on our small home postal scale - there are no chips, no cracks, but there are TONS OF SCRATCHES present and swear to the gold gilt - As-is, as-found.
