Description: PRINCO Vintage Thermometer Temperature Gauge 30° to 240° Fahrenheit This is a true vintage piece manufactured by PRINCO (Precision Thermo. & Inst. Co Philadelphia). The item was found in an old barn in Bucks County, PA outside of Philadelphia. Our understanding is that the barn was used as an auto repair and maintenance shop from the 1940s through the early 1990s. The meter seems to read °F between 30 and 240. The item shows it's age with a layer of patina. The total length of the item is 14.5" and the total weight is 3 lbs and 6 oz. Not sure if this piece of hardware still functions or if it could be used for practical application. It's a fine Mid Century Industrial piece for a collector of a restorer of such items. Also could be used as a prop or part of a steampunk art project or installation. Please see the photos above. Thanks! *Offered here is one PRINCO Vintage Thermometer 30° to 240° Fahrenheit.
