Description: This antique French mantle clock case features winged Assyrian gate guardians and is made of brass. It is an original piece from the Victorian era, manufactured between 1850-1899. The clock is 13 inches wide, 14 inches tall, and 6 1/2 inches deep. The item weighs 13 pounds unboxed. This clock case is being sold for restoration, brass needs to be polished, velvet is faded/worn, and it needs a movement, back, and I believe some sort of top finial. My lighting was terrible, in the last pic I was getting a glare from the brass. The last 2 pictures show a similar clock I found on Ebay over 14 years ago to help identify it. I believe this was produced in the "Return From Egypt" period of French History. No broken pieces that I see. Any questions contact me.
