Rare Antique Japanese Owari Mantle Clock with Key & Pendulum

Description: For auction is a rare antique mantle clock manufactured by Owari Clock & Co. I assume it was manufactured in the United States but there are Japanese characters on the rear panel. The clock is in excellent cosmetic condition but it does not run. I'm sure it needs to be cleaned at a minimum. It does chime on the hour and neither spring is over-tightened. I believe the logo on the face proves that the face is original. There are no other markings on it. I am not a clock expert, but I believe this clock was intended for those on a budget. The finish is a hand grained finish over a lesser wood. The clock is 17 1/4" tall, 11" wide, and 4 1/2" deep. (SHD)
