Description: Stunning Unique Murano “Lovers” Sculpture - horizontal. OGGETTI figural glass sculpture SIGNED by Mario Badioli (M. Badioli). This piece is so beautiful and artistic, it’s the embodiment of pure love and adoration. At least 17 years old, perfect condition. Purchased while on a trip to the Island of Murano in Italy by an elderly friend. The multicolored version is very rare and hard to find, making it that more desirable. A horizontal lovers Figural piece is even more rare. Colors are orange, blue, red, clear and they blend so flawlessly. Depending on how the light hits it, colors look different. Very detailed glass artwork with arms and even butt is detailed. Badioli did quite a bit of clear pieces during this time he was working with OGGETTI. This is a great score for an interior designer even. PERFECT STATEMENT PIECE. This is a gorgeous couple! Made and purchased on the island of Murano, this piece is approximately 12” long.
