Description: I don't know what company made this beautiful set. It had a tag on it when I purchased it at an estate. The tag says "Harry Friedel" and there is a rather elaborate Maker's Mark on the bottom of the tray consisting of 3 pictures and some numbers (see pictures), but I still don't know the maker. I can only say it is a gorgeous set, and that a painstaking amount of time must have been put into its design and creation. The sugar and creamer both have a dimensional town scene with a windmill in the foreground. On the sides there is a lighthouse, a ship and 3 men. Every surface other than the flat area of the tray is covered with elaborate designs. The piece is lacquered to eliminate or lessen polishing. The inside of the creamer and sugar are gold in color. Care consists of wiping it with a damp cloth. The tray is 8- 5/8" long, and approx. 5: high.
