Just enter your selection as a note on the order for us to see. :-) Select your 2 blocks from the following varieties (multiples of same variety is perfectly fine!): - Chestnut (P. adiposa)- King Blue Oyster (Pleurotus hybrid)- King Oyster (P. eryngii)- Lion's Mane (H. erinaceus)- Maitake (G. frondosa)- Wild Enoki (F. velutipes) Bags weigh approximately 5.25 lbs (2.5 kg) with substrate made from a blend of hardwood sawdust and soy bean hulls. Reishi bags are the exception to this and weigh 3.5 lbs. This is to allow additional space in the bag for antler growth. We will provide simple instructions for fruiting, but grower is responsible for providing a suitable fruiting environment for the bag to flourish. We guarantee bags to be viable and utilize cultures with known fruiting characteristics. Bag will arrive already-inoculated, guaranteed to be viable, and free of contamination. Please note that Maitake bags are intentionally shipped prior to full colonization to improve performance upon arrival and will require time to colonize once received. Typical yield per bag for most varieties is around 1 - 2 lbs of fresh mushrooms. If you choose a variety that is not a listed option, we will attempt to contact you so you can alter your selection. If we do not receive a reply by the shipping date, we reserve the right to make a substitution for you and will try to best-match the other varieties you chose. Please note the following: 1. Due to an immense number of variables well-outside our control once the bag is in your hands (e.g. fruiting methods and environment), we cannot guarantee yield quantities. 2. Bag may arrive with in vitro fruits beginning to form; this is a normal sign of vigorous culture that is eager to fruit and will not significantly affect harvests. 3. Blocks may show signs of stress or cracking after shipping and should be left to rest for a few days before attempting to fruit. Any cracks will heal as the mycelium regrows. 4. Bags contain live mycelium that may experience great stress or die if they experience prolonged periods of extreme heat. So if you live in a climate where the bags are likely to be subjected to these conditions during transit or delivery, you may wish to consider ordering at a cooler time of year, or from a local vendor. We also reserve the right to cancel an order we believe is likely to not arrive in good condition. 5. "Ready to Fruit" is not a guarantee bag will arrive 100% colonized and able to fruit immediately upon arrival. It means that the bag is inoculated and needs no further action taken on your part to become fruitable, other than to wait for optimum colonization.
