Description: for sale here is a very good and rare reel , its a hardy the silex reel with rim tension , rim check lever with ivorine handle , 3.75" size , stamped A.H.W. for arthur wall, full length straight smooth 4 screw brass foot , correct factory cut-out rim , twin ivorine handles , early 3 screw front drum release slider , .....a rare reel this and in overall excellent collectors condition , all fully checked etc .....please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week...ref box 14 please also view more excellent items on my other ebay account , ebay username is w666fly if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reel obviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me..
