Description: Item: Vintage Bisque NANCY ANN STORYBOOK DOLL - 'A Shower Girl for April' - #190, frozen leg, from the early 1940s. This beautiful blonde-haired girl wears her original dress of pale blue taffeta with lace trim. She wears a light blue felt bonnet with pale blue flowers and carries a lace parasol all trimmed with pink florist ribbon. The doll has black painted slippers, hand-painted face and comes with her original pantaloons. The doll is stamped 'Story Book Doll USA' and comes with original box (no stand). She retains her original tag. This item is in Good vintage condition. The dress and ribbon have some stains, yellowing & age spots due to age and storage. There is shelf wear to box.
