Each one is capable of supporting 5 loaded magazines without of drooping or breakage. Three counter-sunk holes are accessible for a variety of mounting locations for drywall or #8 wood screws.When two are mounted together, an additional magazine is able to be stored between the two racks.We’ve tested our racks with these magazines:Pistol magazines: 1911 45ACP Wilson Combat, Springfield XDS. Any pistol magazine with a nominal width of 14.5mm (0.57" should fit) although base pads are required in order to retain the magazine. Old-style "GI Magazines" with a flat basepad will not work). This item will not work with "GI" or milspec mags that do not have a proper baseplate. Quite frankly, those should probably be put in the trash anyways.
